We are an amateur film-making club that receives no grant funding. All our income relies on members' subscriptions, donations and from the sale of the videos listed below. We have DVD productions of local history and topics of interest. Any of these would make a great Birthday or Christmas present for anyone interested in Walthamstow's history.

These cost £6.00 each and can be purchased in several ways:

  • by post (postage and packing included) - send us an email to arrange this
  • in local shops - such as The Bargain Bookshop in North Chingford
  • online - using the buttons below

Postage and packing is also included in the online price.

The WACC has been filming local events since 1949. This was our first collection of these events into a one-hour video.

Walthamstow was once a centre for movie studios!

'Hollywood E17' tells the story of these famous studios in a 30 minute documentary. This film is taken from the extensive library of WACC footage has now been released for public purchase.

The Queen's Visit to Waltham Forest

During the Queen's Millenium Year she visited Waltham Forest. WACC's cameras were there to record the event, held at the Town Hall.

The MG Car Club at Silverstone

Year 2000 was the 70th year of the MG Car Club and it's 50th year of being at Silverstone race track. WACC was there with 7 cameras recording the event.
